Beth and I took a trip last weekend to Chicago Illinois and Lafayette Indiana. We stayed with Chris in Chicago and attended Ryan & Adrienne’s wedding in Lafayette.

The Wedding was beautiful and we had a great time!

I had never spent time in Chicago, some notes:
- It’s big!
- It’s in the Midwest. (You see road signs for places like Wisconsin.)
- Millennium Park is just awesome. Really well designed, every element is fascinating and discoverable. I’m jealous.
- The Ferris Wheel on Navy Pier is lame. You get on, ride around once, then get off. Lame. There is a little McDonalds logo on each car. (Actually, just skip Navy Pier unless you have a reason to go there.)
- I like the (presumably) city owned but resident adopted plantings in-between the sidewalk and street.
